Parken Challenger Championship Cancelled as Operator Files for Bankruptcy
New Breed Agency ApS has filed for bankruptcy, cancelling PCC events #9–16 and the Parken Stadium Master Finals with immediate effect.
PCC Series #9–16 and Master Finals Will Not Take Place
The Parken Challenger Championship has been cancelled in its entirety, following the decision by New Breed Agency ApS — the operating company behind the series — to initiate bankruptcy proceedings.
What Is Cancelled
PCC events #9 through #16 and the Parken Stadium Master Finals will not take place. The cancellation comes after months of efforts by management, shareholders, and partners to secure additional funding or find alternative solutions to keep the project alive.
Official Statement
In an announcement addressed to teams, players, partners, suppliers, and the broader Counter-Strike community, the company confirmed that no viable solution could be reached:
"Despite these efforts, a viable solution could not be reached. As a result, the company is no longer able to continue its operations or fulfil its future commitments, leaving no responsible alternative but to commence bankruptcy proceedings."
Outstanding Obligations
All creditor matters — including outstanding payments to teams, players, suppliers, and service providers — will be handled through the bankruptcy estate in accordance with applicable bankruptcy legislation. Affected stakeholders will be contacted directly as more information becomes available.
The PCC had grown into one of the more prominent Scandinavian CS2 grassroots circuits, having completed eight events before this announcement. Sentiment around the events had consistently been very positive from teams, players, and the community alike — making this a genuine loss for the lower tiers of CS, where quality tournament infrastructure is always in short supply.
