Vitality claim #1 as illwill and 9z make historic VRS jumps

Vitality overtake FURIA for the global #1 spot, while illwill and 9z make 35 and 32-place climbs — the biggest jumps in this month's VRS update.

Vitality take the top

For the first time in 2026, Vitality sit at #1. They gained 89 points over the past month to reach 2,029 — enough to overtake FURIA, who actually lost 58 points and slipped from 1,951 to 1,893. The gap between them is 136 points, which isn’t massive, but Vitality are trending up while FURIA are heading the other direction.

MOUZ are the other big story at the top. They jumped four spots from #7 to #3, picking up 134 points in the process. That puts them just 7 points behind FURIA and well clear of PARIVISION and Falcons, who both dropped slightly.

illwill and 9z rewrite the midtable

The two biggest single-month jumps in this update aren’t from the top ten — they’re from teams that barely registered a month ago.

illwill went from #61 to #26, a 35-spot climb on the back of 186 new points. 9z went from #57 to #25, up 32 spots and 189 points. Both teams have been grinding results that quietly accumulated into a serious Bounty Collected total. Neither jump is a fluke — you don’t pick up that many points without beating teams that have money.

Monte also had a strong month, rising 20 places from #38 to #18. Gentle Mates climbed 12 spots to #15, and HEROIC — fresh off winning Draculan Season 5 — moved up nine places to #16.

100 Thieves quietly building

100 Thieves come in at #37 in this update, which is worth noting given that this roster was built essentially from scratch. They’ve been putting in consistent results for six months and now sit on 1,306 points — just outside the top 35, with the kind of upward trajectory that should make the next update interesting.

Who fell hard

Legacy lost 259 points, the steepest drop in raw terms, falling from #16 to #27. Liquid shed 245 points and dropped from #11 to #23. paiN lost 248 points, going from #20 to #34. All three teams were solidly mid-top-30 a month ago and are now significantly further down the list.

3DMAX dropped ten spots from #14 to #24, BC.Game fell ten places from #22 to #32, and B8 dropped nine from #12 to #21. The 6-month decay window is doing its job — teams that aren’t playing or winning at a consistent level lose ground fast.
